If you're a founder in Bangalore looking for a web design studio in 2026, you've already been through the painful Google search. The first page is a mix of agencies that look identical, freelancers with portfolios from 2019, and listicle sites that quietly take affiliate fees from whoever pays them.
This is a slightly more honest take. We're studio10days, we work with Bangalore founders all the time, and we'll be transparent about where we fit and where we don't.
What Bangalore founders actually need
Bangalore's startup scene is uniquely engineering-heavy. That changes what a web design studio needs to deliver. The founders we work with in Indiranagar, Koramangala, HSR, and Whitefield are usually:
- Technical themselves — they don't want hand-waving about "user experience"; they want clean code in a repo they can read
- Building SaaS or developer tools — meaning the website must actually convert engineers, not just look pretty
- Time-poor — every week not shipping is a week competitors are
- Allergic to agency theatre — kickoff workshops and brand pyramids feel like waste
This is why fast, opinionated, hand-coded studios tend to win in Bangalore. A 12-week agency engagement with three account managers feels deeply wrong to a founder who shipped a working MVP in a weekend.
Tiers of studios in Bangalore
Big-name design agencies
You've seen the names. They have offices in Indiranagar, beautiful websites, big client lists. Pricing starts at ₹3–5 lakh and timelines are 8–16 weeks. They're great for funded Series B+ companies that need polish and have brand directors to manage the relationship. They're overkill for a 4-person team that just needs a homepage that converts.
Mid-tier studios
Twenty-to-fifty people, ₹1–3 lakh range, 6–10 week timelines. Strong work, more accessible to seed-stage companies. The tradeoff is process-heavy delivery — you'll spend real time in alignment meetings.
Indie studios and senior freelancers
Two to five people, ₹15K–50K, 2–4 week timelines (or 10 days, in our case). This is the sweet spot for most Bangalore founders pre-Series A. You get senior judgement, fast turnarounds, and direct contact with the people building the site.
Cheap shops on Justdial / Sulekha
Avoid. Price-led, template-driven, the SEO is whatever WordPress shipped with. You'll redo it in a year.
What to ask before signing
- Do you write the code yourselves? If they say "we use Webflow / Wix" and your site has any complexity, walk away.
- Who exactly will I be talking to? If the answer is "your account manager," ask to talk to the people building it.
- Can I see a site you launched in the last 6 months? Old portfolios are a yellow flag.
- What happens if I don't like the design? Two clear revision rounds beats "unlimited revisions" every time.
- What's not included? Domain? Hosting? Analytics? Email? Decide who handles each.
Where studio10days fits
